Vernell “Vee” Patterson is a Certified Personal Trainer and Accredited Sports Nutritionist whose coaching blends lived experience, scientific rigor, and the structured leadership of her former career as an Elementary School Principal. She first turned to fitness in high school to navigate a major life event, and throughout adulthood, movement became the place she returned to whenever she felt mentally or emotionally stuck — though she struggled to make it sustainable.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Vee’s health declined with pre-diabetic symptoms, a significant 50lb. weight gain, and severe body dysmorphia.

In May 2021, she made a life-changing decision to reclaim her health through intentional training and discipline — a journey that led her toward bodybuilding and ignited her mission to help other women experience the same transformation.

Committed to excellence, Vee pursued formal education in Nutrition, starting Fall of 2024, and became accredited through the Sports Nutrition Association (Australia), later earning her Certification in Personal Training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

She also obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (Stockton University, SPR'14 ‘14) and her Master of Science in Education at Johns Hopkins University (SPR’17). Her approach stands apart because she coaches from both science and lived experience, creating culturally aware, sustainable programs that honor each woman’s valid journey while delivering real, lasting results.
